Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was on the hunt for the kind of ramen that makes your mouth water just looking at itβ€”the kind where one bite tells you you’re absolutely finishing the whole bowl. I also wanted something local to the Hollywood area without a long drive, and that’s exactly what I found at Susuru Ramen. The restaurant is tucked into a small parking lot, and from the outside it’s a little underwhelming. I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous at first, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. The inside is cozy with limited seating, but the staff was incredibly friendly and the service was excellent. We started with the chicken karaage and the chicken and pork gyoza. Everything was delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the gyoza had that amazing crisp layer on the bottom that makes them even better. I also ordered a Thai tea, and it was absolutely to die for. Now for the star of the show: the ramen. I ordered the Khao Soi ramen, and wowβ€”it was incredible. The broth had the perfect hint of spice, the noodles were cooked to the perfect texture, and all the flavors and textures worked so well together. The portion was a great amount including the chicken pieces inside the ramen. Even writing this rev

I wanted to share our experience visiting your restaurant recently. We came by recommendation, and although it is a small place and parking was a bit difficult to find, the food was absolutely on point. Everything we ordered was excellent. My 8-year-old daughter had the chicken soup, my son had the tonkotsu soup with extra noodles and fried tofu, and my spouse had the Khao soi, which was incredibly flavorful. We also ordered the squid legs appetizer; they were perfectly fried, not too chewy, and very delicious. Your soup broth is exceptional and the noodles were perfectly cooked. It was definitely worth the drive from Newport Beach to LA to dine with you.

This ramen spot is really where it's at! Nestled in the heart of Thai Town, Susuru is cozy and delivers where it matters most, in the taste. Susuru Ramen Bar is a real neighborhood spot for ramen, and worth the walk and the drive! The Chicken Karaage is the perfect blend of moist and crispiness, and didn't feel heavy or oily. Some places serve chicken karaage over-breaded or drenched in oil, but not Susuru! The Mayu Ramen is really where it's at though. This pork-broth base ramen with black garlic oil surprisingly uses egg noodles, so it's a richer, different taste that certainly stands out. At the same time, no singular taste overwhelms the rest of the dish, and everything from the seasoned soft boiled egg to the perfectly charred chiashu work together in one harmonious feast. This is one ramen bowl that is literally good to the last drop!

Food is soooo good! Worth the try! Prices are fair and ramen is so filling and broth is rich and so good. Definitely saving the location to visit again when visiting LA.

SO GOOD. I live nearby , so naturally I’ve made it my mission to try as many restaurants as I can. Ramen is my comfort food and I’ve tried a handful of places on Hollywood blvd and this is my new fav!! Also , the pricing is better than most ramen places around. The broth is yummy , the noodles are just right. I loved the cozy vibes β€” felt like I was at a friends house for dinner. Can’t wait to come back.
